Do you know someone who doesn't Love reading?
March 2nd 2006 is
World Book Day and linked to this huge celebration of books is
a brand new initiative called Quick Reads . Its importance is
underlined by the fact it's being launched by Tony
Blair. |
Twelve of the biggest names in fiction and non-fiction, including Ruth Rendell, Minette Walters and Joanna Trollope will publish short, fast-paced new books designed to encourage reluctant readers to get hooked on books. At Lovereading we fully support this exciting new initiative and are always looking for ways to promote the love of reading.
And while we are pretty sure that all our
registered readers are definitely not reluctant readers you might be able to help those that may be by spreading the word. So, why not forward this email to anyone you think might like the idea of these Quick Reads. And as always, exclusively on Lovereading, you can download short opening extracts of them all!
But do have a look yourself. Sarah Broadhurst, our editorial guru, fully supports Quick Reads and has a suspicion that they will also appeal to avid readers. At only £2.99 per book and just over 100 pages each, they are the perfect way for you to sample new authors without ploughing through a full-length novel.
Our normal monthly email will be winging its
way to you next week, so for now - Happy
Lovereading .
